Forever People 3

Forever People 3 cover

As the issue opens we meet yet another emissary from Apokolips: Glorious Godfrey.

He is a villain but he isn't a physical fighter; he has the power of a cult leader. Godfrey's followers are shorn of their conscience, don a metal helmet, and call themselves Justifiers. One such Justifier appears in the Forever People's domicile and threatens young Donnie. The Forever people rescue Donnie and escape wth him while the justifier, unmindful of his own life, becomes a suicide bomber.

As the Justifiers start their harrassment . . .

. . . the Forever People arrive at the scene of the latest Godfrey rally. Upon arrival they immediately summon Infinity Man.

It seems that the nature of the agreement between the Forever People and the Infinity Man is when things become potentially dangerous, they summon the Infinity Man.

Infinity Man immediately displays a cool new power - he can phase through hard matter.

As Infinity Man rises from the ground like a ghost, Godfrey's people open fire.

Infinity Man is able to alter the trajectory of the bullets.

Infinity Man focuses on the destruction of Godfrey's Demon Organ which - and this is a conjecture on my part - must be used in his mass hypnosis.

At the moment of triumph, Darkseid appears.

What Darkseid does forces the switch

With the switch, the Forever People are rendered unconscious. The plan is to bring them to the "camp" of Darkseid's torturer, Desaad.
