Forever People 4

From the previous issue the Forever People have been captured and are on their way to Desaad's camp. Kirby gives us a splash page glimpse of what is happening in this "camp".

That's from the inside from the outside it looks like this.

Outside it's an amusement park; inside its a torture chamber.

In Desaad's camp, the Forever People find themselves trapped without their mother box.

They are unable to withstand an assault from the guards.

I did not know this would be so affecting, the torture of a mother box:

Then something happens - according to Desaad, he forced the mother box to commit suicide.

Going back to the situation of the Forever People, each of them have a special trap in Desaad's camp.

Mark Moonrider is in a crystal cage screaming at people to free him but from the outside they see an amusement park skeleton.

Big Bear is an in a shooting game; every time somebody shoots he is buffeted by force.

Beautiful Dreamer is laid out like Sleeping Beauty but when people look at her she sees only monsters.

Serafin and Vykin are in a joint torture trap. Vykin is in danger of getting un over by a roller coaster; Serafin must continuously pump a pedal to save him.

The surprise is that the mother box did not destroy itself. It reappeared somewhere else to be discovered by someone else.
