Forever People 10

The issue begins with a strange vehicle being hijacked by a strange man.

It all leads to an introduction of organization called the Scavengers who is the initiator of events here. This group is headed by this man:

Through the Director's spying we are informed that Serifan has created a "follower".

The follower is a physical body for Deadman.

The Director recognizes the follower's face as belonging to Boston Brand - Deadman's real name. Boston Brand was killed by a man with hook for a right hand. And look, the Director has just such a hook..

The Director sends someone to steal the Follower.

The mother box is alerted to the deed, causing Moonrider and Deadman to pursue.

Deadman tracks the Follower to the Director's lair and takes over the Follower.

And Deadman also discovers the hook!

Unfortunatly, the Director manages to lower a steel barrier between himself and Deadman. Serifan opens the barrier but the Director has not run out of tricks.

Big Bear to the rescue.

The Director tries to escape but is foiled by one of Beautiful Dreamer's illusions.

In going after the Director's lackey, Deadman proves that you can't kill a Deadman

It turns out that the Director did not kill Boston Brand.

Before parting, Serifan gives Deadman a cartridge that will link him permanently to the Follower.
