Teen Titans 2

Teen Titans 2 cover

It is the first appearance of Deathstroke and here he is on the splash page.

He is in a meeting with H.I.V.E. and it goes badly very fast so we get to see Deathstroke in action.

From last issue we saw this guy very angry because of the damage done to his apartment by the Titan's fight. This issue he's still angry.

In fact, he is so angry that Starfire needed to blast some control into him. When the Titans leave he's still angry and he's hellbent on doing something about it.

We find the Titans on a stakeout.

Soon the action starts, most notable is Cyborg showing his strength.

Wonder Girl is not to be outdone.

The Titans begin to notice, that Starfire, whom they still cannot understand, is a particularly savage fighter. Then she does this.

And after that she can speak English.

Aside from her savagery Starfire also has a very obvious attraction for Robin.

Not only is Cyborg strong, he also has some really handy arm attachments.

Cyborg also harbors great anger toward his Dad.

All this while, Deathstroke is watching the Titans with deadly intent.

That angry young man, Grant? He's reached out to H.I.V.E. for some kind of transformative operation.

The only Titan absent during that dock fight was Raven. Here she is communing with . . . something.

So back at the Dayton megamansion the Titans go for some R and R and the ladies come out in bikinis.

But this shot is the one I find most tantalizing.

Back at S.T.A.R. Labs, while yet another heated argument is going on between Vic and his Dad, this guy attacks.

He manages to evade Cyborg for a while but Cyborg manages to put him down with a white sound blast.

Before Cyborg can come in for the coup de grace, Deathstroke steps in.

The Ravager turns out to be Grant. Deathstroke talks to him of the enormous downside the H.I.V.E. operation carries with it.

Of course, Grant the hothead ignores Deathstroke. Instead he hunts and challenges the Titans; for some reason Deathstroke invites himself into the fight.

Ravanger is doing excellently.

Then suddenly . . .

As Deathstroke warned, Ravager's abilities have killed him.

Deathstroke carries him away.

It is revealed later that the Ravager is Grant Wilson, Deathstroke's son.
